🚀 What You’ll Do
As a YouTube Content Strategist, you’ll take a hands-on role in steering a channel with an audience of millions. You’ll own both strategy and creative direction, setting the long-term vision while also guiding the ideas, scripts, and production that bring it to life.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creative Direction
- Own the content strategy: oversee longform and shorts ideas, pitches, and the content calendar.
- Guide creative briefs, scripts, and storyboarding to ensure strong hooks, pacing, and positioning.
- Experimentation & Playbooks
- Plan and run creative experiments (formats, thumbnails, packaging, cadence).
- Document learnings, update playbooks, and share insights with the team weekly.
- Performance & Insights
- Prepare MoM summaries with KPI reviews, experiment hypotheses, and success metrics.
- Bring weekly insights from platform updates, audience data, and competitors.
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Conduct 1:1 reviews and performance check-ins with creative team members.
- Mentor the team, run upskilling sessions, and raise the overall creative bar.

- You have a proven track record of growing YouTube channels, driving sustained increases in views, subscribers, and engagement.
- You have proven experience in YouTube strategy, channel management, and creative leadership.
- You understand YouTube as a platform and ecosystem, from algorithm and formats to retention and community building.
- You have hands-on experience in content production and creative direction, and know what it takes to bring an idea from pitch → script → shoot → publish.
- You can think strategically and analytically, spotting patterns in data and translating them into actionable content decisions.
- You can communicate with clarity across functions. explaining creative ideas to business stakeholders.
- You’re naturally curious, detail-oriented, and systems-driven, with the instinct to build playbooks rather than one-off projects.
